Day 6

Day 7

Fly to Lusaka then onto the Lower Zambezi National Park for 5 nights at Chiawa Camp, situated up on the banks of the Lower Zambezi below Kariba Dam. Chiawa Camp is a must for any visit to Zambia. Superb accommodation, magnificent game viewing and scenery, and a large variety of activities are complemented by a modern infrastructure, renowned guiding and attentive professional staff. Chiawa has six Luxury Safari Tents, one Honeymoon Tent and two Superior Tents accommodating a maximum of 16 guests on an individual basis or a maximum of 18 guests if the camp is booked out in its entirety for a group. The tents all have excellent views and are accessed by paths running behind them to maximise privacy.

Day 8 to Day 11

Guests can choose to stay the whole time at Chiawa or divide their time between Chiawa and Old Mondoro Bush Camp. Old Mondoro is of traditional design and offers a true "back to the bush" atmosphere which is unpretentious and uncomplicated, but promises a unique safari that gives guests the best bush experience possible. Accommodating only eight guests, Old Mondoro is somewhat reminiscent of the mobile camps of East Africa, rebuilt from scratch and then dismantled each safari season.
