The Bushcamp Company (& Mfuwe Lodge)

The five camps that make up The Bushcamp Co. are only accessible from June to November. Each camp is small and exclusive and, in the area where walking safaris began, provides a unique opportunity to venture where few people have been before.

Kuyenda - Traditional Zambian Camp. Rustic, simple & charming, Kuyenda attracts more repeat visitors than to any other camp. Taking only 6 guests, the chalets are built from reed and grass and there is no electricity - it doesn't get more traditional than this!
Chamilandu - Upmarket Raised Camp. Comfortable, stylish & elegant, the camp is situated on the sandy banks of the Luangwa River. Three stilted tastefully decorated chalets sleep a total of 6 guests.
Chendeni - Luxury Tented Camp. Magnificent, tranquil & scenic, Chendeni lies in the heart of an ebony grove and nestles on the apex of a permanent ox bow lagoon. Its 4 en-suite tents offer luxury facilities.
Bilimungwe - Traditional Trails Camp. Secluded, natural & quiet, Bilimungwe offers excellent game and very good easy walking. Situated near a small waterhole, the camp consists of 4 reed and thatch chalets with en-suite shower, toilet & double vanities.
Kapamba - Stylish Riverside Camp. Elegant, bold & private, the latest addition to the Company's portfolio is located in an unspoilt and remote area and offers magnificent walking. There are 4 chalets - all en-suite, and completely open at the front.

Top Tip:
An itinerary should consist of staying in at least 2 camps, the best way to get from one to the next is on a walking safari - perfect!
