Mfuwe Lodge
Mfuwe Lodge is one of just two lodges located inside the South Luangwa National Park. Situated between two picturesque lagoons, which attract an abundance of wildlife, the Lodge is a luxurious haven in which to enjoy an exceptional African experience.
The Lodge consists of 18 en-suite chalets, each with private decking overlooking a Lagoon allowing for your very own private game viewing experience. Even the sunken bath in each chalet has its own private view of the lagoon - what better way to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the African bush.
The open plan central lodge facility incorporates reception, lounge, dining & bar areas and the deck area which accommodates the swimming pool. There is also a unique library which is entirely dedicated to nature conservation related issues, African culture, tradition and history.
Game viewing in South Luangwa is exceptional and expert guides ensure guests make the most of their time in the park. Early morning game drives are the ideal time to see the wildlife at its most active as the animals stir into life before the midday heat. Night drives depart from the lodge before the sun sets and the nocturnal creatures get active.
